Over 20 years ago, Balin Eye Center was established by Dr. Nancy Balin, to bring full service eye care to the residents of western Massachusetts. Over the years we changed our name to Balin Eye & Laser Center to better reflect the growth of our facility into a premier eye center offering a full spectrum of care including routine eye care, comprehensive care for eye disease, dry eye treatments, contact lens care, cosmetic treatments, eyelid surgeries and advanced vision correction surgeries.
With a special passion for improving the lives of our patients through improving vision, Dr. Balin has created a facility that not only provides exceptional routine eye care but also offers the most advanced surgical treatments for vision correction. Dr. Balin’s surgical specialties include iLASIK, Refractive Lensectomy, Refractive Cataract Surgery, KAMRA Inlay, PRK, and No-Stitch Cataract Surgery. As a pioneer in the field of vision correction, Dr. Balin was the first surgeon in western Massachusetts to perform Lasik, PRK and the KAMRA Inlay.
